None of these numbers work any more
(numbers "not recognised")
Only 0208 605 3000 works but it only takes you to a recorded message directing you back to the Contact Us email screen on the eBay UK website
Hi and welcome to SAYNOTO0870.COM.
I have removed the following entries:
eBay UK 020 8080 2105 Customer support Also: 020 8080 2100
The menu on 020 8605 3000 has an option for Paypal (option 1). I selected it and got the standard BT network message "The number you have dialled has not been recognised." What this is, is not the number I dialled, but on selecting option 1 it puts the call through to another number which is evidently now not recognised. Likewise, PayPal's published number 08707 307 191 is also not reconised.
Seems to me like the underlying numbers that these route too are now not recognised. Maybe there is a fault....
A few minutes after writing the above, the eBay UK numbers have all come back to life. I think that there was a fault.
0800 358 3229 which wasn't in our database is the same as calling 020 8080 2105. They say they are for invitation only helpline for selected frequent customers which probably explains why the 020 8605 3000 number refers customers to the e-mail facilities.
Option 1 on 020 8605 3000 now transfers to the PayPal UK helpline (same as 0870 number).
