The FA (Football Association)

Angry

Bless them they have move to Wembley and introduced a 0844 number.  I am a supplier and phone them often they do not offer us another number.  Is there a backdoor?  They are back enough at paying which is why I resent this even more!

When you finish  Angry perhaps you can furnish us with some more information on what it is you are asking for help on. I thought we (or I) had been along this road, but your details are so sketchy I'm not going any further unless you explain further.

The 0844 number would be a start...

Sorry how embarrasing. Phone number is 0844 980 8200

The Football Association
Wembley Stadium
PO Box 1966
London
SW1P 9EQ

0844 980 8200

This is a switchboard and the main number for all extensions.  I need to speak with various departments and the payments section and often spend hours waiting hence the request  for a geographical number

I found out that Wembley Stadium had introduced 0844 numbers a couple of years ago and started the thread Wembley Stadium not expecting international calls. Whilst this thread we are on now is for finding an alternative, feel free to comment on the other one on the total rip-off of that British Football Association chooses to use premium numbers.

The main switchboard number (which answers with a menu) for Wembley Stadium is listed in our database as 020 8795 9000 (or 9600) which is identical to the published rip-off number 0844 980 8001.

This will probably be a suitable number for you to use. The 0844 980 8200 number you have provided answers with a menu voice by the same female and she introduces it as the "Football Association".

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.  Unfortunately, Wembley Stadium and The FA are completely separate organisations and this number does not work for the FA.  The FA have just moved from Soho Square, where they had an 020 number, and at the same time changed to one of the 0844 rip off numbers!

If you dial the number for Wembley Stadium and select option 8, you will be put through to the Football Association's main menu, just the same as dialling its 0844 number.  Wink

Yesterday I discovered that there is an option on Wembley Stadium's main number to be put through to the FA's menu. I've been looking for a direct alternative to the FA's main 0844 980 8200 number.

Well, I've found it! It is 020 8733 2603.  Wink
