The number I have is 0800 8145400, which is the Customer Service no. Their website is www.candis.co.uk, but only the 0800 no is listed there. Their address is Candis Club, Newhall Lane, Hoylake, Wirral CH47 4BQ. If anyone can help me with this I would be very grateful Thanks Linda

This is a 0800 number so it is free to call from a landline. Why are you looking for an alternative?

There are two entries in the database, both currently unverified for Candis Magazine. Both give 0151 632 3232 as the alternative to 0870 745 3001 and 0870 745 3004.

Please let us know how you get on so I can update the database accordingly.

I guess you are wanting to use your mobile and are worried about the costs that mobile providers charge for an 0800 number.

It has been mentioned previously, the dial-through geographical numbers for use from mobiles are 020 0222 0900 and 020 0222 0700. Using one of these will allow calls to 0800/0808/0500 so-called "freephone" numbers. Charges will be as geographical calls, thus will often reduce the cost from mobiles.

0151 632 3232 is the main switchboard for Newhall Publications, the publisher of Candis Magazine.

A search of BT Phonebook for

newhall

ch47

reveals several entries including the switchboard number and some direct numbers in the range 0151 632 76xx. I tried 0151 632 7600 and hey presto it is the customer services number (same as 0800 814 5400).

These customer services numbers are also the same as 0870 745 3001 and 0870 745 3004.

I have listed all these numbers in the database.
