I've been looking into this. The
iRobot UK support page gives the 0870 2485492 telephone number and an e-mail address: rma@digitest.de
A visit to
www.digitest.de gives that 0870 number, so it is in fact operated by Digitest. Look at this map and hover your mouse over the UK and you will see the pop-up with the 0870 number:
http://www.digitest-service.de/support/Clicking on the United Kingdom goes to
this list:
Quote:Welcome to digitest Online Service

Each of these list items is a hyperlink to a form for submitting customer and product details.
Going back to the map, the number for Ireland is 00800 3444 8378. This is an international freephone number and is answered in English, the same as the 0870 number.
There is one burst German of ringing tone before it is answered on both the 00800 and 0870 numbers.
The
English contact page gives:
digitest elektronik Service GmbH

Fon +49 (0) 6341 9354 0
Fax +49 (0) 6341 30354
The company profile booklet gives contact details for management:

Mr. Rainer Saborowski

I looked at these numbers to see if there's a pattern or clue to the numbers they operate. Apart from the main fax, they all start +49-6341-9354-xxx. The main switchboard number is shorter than the others, so I presume that this is a German peculiarity with different length numbers.
I used
1899 to call these German numbers. You might find
MoneySavingExpert.com's International Call Checker useful for finding a suitable call provider.
Where xxx is, I started at 100 (because 001 to 099 cannot exist) and noted that they were different messages in different languages.
The English support line is on +49-6341-9354-111 which is the same as calling 0870 248 5492 or 00800 3444 8378. If you are calling from a landline then you should dial the 00800 number as it is free.I have added an entry to the database for this.
