Hi again, Thanks for the replies to my query for an alternative phone number to 08704 783906 for: The Internet Shop, Unit A3, Enterprise Park, Brunel drive, Newark, Notts NG24 2D2. I'm afraid I wasn't quite specific enough. The name of the company is: The-Internet-Shop and the Website address and page I looked at are: http://www.the-internet-shop.co.uk/nokia.html - unfortunately I've been unable to find an alternative phone number to 08704 783906. I did search on companieshouse.gov.uk for: The Internet Shop, The-Internet-Shop and the-internet-shop.co.uk with and without Newark but could get no search results. Perhaps I was doing something wrong?

Notwithstanding your request for a phone number, I don't understand why you consider that giving your card number to a stranger on the telephone to be processed manually is somehow safer than entering it on a web page to be securely transmitted, validated and processed automatically. Fraud tends to be committed by human beings, not computers! My life would be hugely inconvenienced by not entering my credit card details on web sites.
