Does anyone out there think that they could please find the local call rate number for BIMM in Brighton

here are the details

BIMM WEST
38 - 42 Brunswick St West
Hove
East Sussex
BN3 1EL
United Kingdom

0844 2 646 66

I am looking for an alternate number because this is a Music college and is costing all students an absaloute fortune to ring up for enquireys of any nature and even if sick or whatever it may be

Im sure there has to be one somewhere otherwise it would cost the lecturers loads

cheers

A search of BT Phonebook for
brighton institute
in
bn2
returns:

Quote:
1. Brighton Institute of Modern Music
Tel: (01273) 626666
7 Rock Pl, Brighton, BN2 1PF

2. Brighton Institute of Modern Music
FAX
Tel: (01273) 626626
Brighton, BN2 1PF

Nothing comes back when the search is changed to location
bn3
.

I can confirm that both 0844 264 6666 and 01273 626666 go through to the same answerphone recording. The female voice identifies them as the BIMM switchboard. I have listed this number in the database for all to use.

Certainly an irritation being asked to ring the 0844 number, I too have to and I have worked there as an outside contractor, (not as staff), still supposed to use that revenue earning number.
I agree & reckon its probably making a bit of money from all the students, but this number could really be just a local 0845 or 03 something as they are changing to.
With so many departments the one number is useful for them as they have a so called virtual switchboard that can be answered in more than one physical location, where a single landline would normally be in each. I can see the merits but not the 0844 bit.
