We have looked for this one before. The old number was 0870 599 8877 which has now answers with a recording giving the number quoted in the OP, 0844 736 0595.

There are two unverified entries in the database which relate to this service:

Sony UK 0870 599 8877 0844 736 0595 020 7859 5000 Sony Computer Entertainment UK HQ - ask for Customer Services for PlayStation support

Alternatively, you could try ringing via the main Sony UK menu which has options for various Sony products. Access this via 020 7365 2947 or 01923 476425.

Hi,

I called Sony today on : 020 73 65 29 47.

Aftre pressing three or four buttons, I got through to a very helpful young lady clled Morgan, who was informative.

My problem is with my Cybershot DSC-T3 camera with a black screen of death. It's apparentky a known defect.

Her solution was not a good one, so I called again on the same number : 020 73 65 29 47.

and got through to Rabia, who was very helpful.

I called from France, where the cost of using a 0870 etc number would be punitive.

Thanks a stack to all who have helped and to the site !

you can also try the extensions by dialing the number and replacing the last two digits with different numbers for example 01923 689 601, 602, 603, etc. They all belong to the same building as its the same woman on the recorded messages (this number is incorrect etc)

UPDATE: i CAN confirm that the number block does belong tositel as i just spoke with a bloke who confirmed that it does. I also tried phoning 01923 689 628 but it goes straight through to audix as its constantly engaged.
