I couldn't find this info anywhere, but forgive me if it is indeed posted somewhere.
Having called the following unverified geo number:
Focus DIY - 0844 800 1501 - 01752 848069 - Saltash
and verified it as correct, how do I alert the powers-that-be that the geo is indeed the equivalent of the non-geo - my dad just rang them to ask about a door.
Hi and welcome to SAYNOTO0870.COM.
Thanks for this; I have listed the entry for the Saltash branch of Focus DIY as verified.
Post reports on the forum in the Geographical Requests section. Where possible, add it onto an existing thread for the same organisation.
Let us know of any unverified numbers or numbers that aren't listed that you find work. Also, notify of any numbers in the database (either verified or unverified) that don't work, and importantly, say why they don't work, eg not recognised, always busy, never answer, redirects to 0845 number etc.
By posting in the Requests section, it keeps all comments about organisations' alternative numbers together. That is, requests for help finding numbers, suggestions of possible alternative numbers and feedback on the effectiveness of alternative numbers.

On an unrelated note, changing my password from the one that was emailed to me was a pain in the bottom because it doesn't list the allowed characters nor the minimum or maximum allowed characters. Worse, it accepted a string of 31 characters, but then wouldn't let me log in - turns-out that it only stored 30 characters of my password and didn't say a word about it!
Sounds like a bug. The YaBB software that runs this forum is really old and I hope that the site administrator will upgrade to a later version at some point.

On a less ranty note, thank you to everyone involved in maintaining this great resource of info - it's bloody marvellous.
Thanks for the support. Do keep popping in to; there is expected to be an Ofcom consultation on 084x revenue sharing numbers soon, so I am sure that we will be looking at that.
