The about us page for The South African says that it is published by Blue Sky Publishing in the UK. This company also publishes other titles which include Australian Times, New Zealand Times and SA Property Monthly.

The Blue Sky Publications website consists of a page with links to the individual publications. It has no address or telephone numbers.

The other publications give the same 0845 telephone and fax numbers as quoted in the OP.

A search of BT Phonebook for businesses called in returns four numbers, all of which are at the address quoted in the OP for this company:

1. (020) 7738 1280 Rings, no answer
2. (020) 7924 1957 Unobtainable
3. (020) 7228 6397 Rings, no answer
4. (020) 7223 2951 Fax

Bearing in mind that it's Sunday today, it is not surprising that there may be no answer. Try the two numbers, (020) 7738 1280 and (020) 7228 6397 during the week.

It may be that they are both alternatives of the 0845 number; that is the 0845 number directs calls to one and if it's busy, to the other. Or one could be the alternative to the 0845 number and the other is another department. You will have to try them and find out.

I've done some more research on this. Blue Sky Publications has what may be associated companies. It is Bluegrass Digital and is also based at Commodore House in Battersea Reach in the UK and in Cape Town in South Africa. Its telephone number is 0845 688 3361 and fax number is 0845 688 3362. Whois bluegrassdigital.com has the Commodore House address and these 0845 phone/fax numbers.

This page has a profile of a Bluegrass Digital employee, his mobile number and it says that it is part of Riverside Creatives. Its website gives its telephone number as 020 3326 1137. Whois riversidecreatives.com has Commodore House as its address, telephone 0845 688 3361.

Another company which has offices in Commodore House and Cape Town is Quotient Financial. The Cape Town office is not the same as that for Bluegrass Digital. Telephone number for Quotient Financial is 0845 094 3990 and fax is 0845 094 3991. Whois quotientfinancial.com has the Commodore House address, the registrant's name is Roderick Phillips, e-mail address rod {at} quotientfinancial {dot} com, and the telephone number is a mobile one, 07710 186743. As Mr Phillips' profile says, he is Managing Director of Quotient Financial in London.


This entry on Thomson Local is for Depth Ltd at 7 Commodore House, and the telephone number is the unobtainable one I found on BT Phonebook, 020 7924 1957. Depth Ltd's website is www.depthltd.com and it gives this number. According to the website, this company does not have an office in South Africa, so I am inclined to suspect that it isn't connected with the Blue Sky, although it is worth bearing in mind that its number is listed by BT Phonebook as belonging to Blue Sky. Perhaps Depth Ltd has just vacated this address.
