I called my Bank (an 0845 number) and was kept holding for ages.  I then looked up in some old paperwork and found a landline number! Bliss....  When I dialled the landline number, it was answered straight away .... and the woman asked how I got hold of that number.  It just goes to show they are all in it for high Dollars, or Pound Sterlings.  It is a disgrace !

The bank in question is Natwest in Ware, Hertfordshire.  And the landline number is 01920 486008.  It works but they sound startled that you have dialled the landline number !
