HI all,
I need good car breakdown cover having roadside and home call assistance. I am confused whether I have to pay extra to take roadside and home call assistance?

Blue Insurance/Blue Insurances spam on SAYNOTO0870

Welcome to our newest member, dasankita, who chose to post a spam link to one of Blue Insurances websites (or is it Blue Insurance?).

Well what do you know, Blue Insurance uses rip-off covert premium 0844 numbers in the UK and rip-off 0818 numbers in Ireland.

I encourage members of SAYNOTO0870.COM to add their comments here, saying what they think of companies like Blue Insurances that use these rip-off numbers. And then come on to our forum spreading their wares in order to attempt to rise up the search engine rankings.

If we all post negative comments on this thread about how we don't like to be ripped off by our insurance company with 0844 numbers, it will help to have the opposite effect that dasankita was hoping for.  Grin

Don't insure with Blue insurance because as Dave said in his post dasankita has decided to spam on a site that is completely opposed to rip-off numbers and he has decided to use this site to promote a company (or maybe it is his company) that uses premium rate numbers  to rip off their customers.

Also if anyone did insure with them, I notice it is regulated by the Irish Financial Regulator and I would not be too sure how that would stand up if someone outside  had a dispute with this outfit.  Smiley

It's important to be confident that an insurance company will pay out if the insured thing happens.

An insurance company like Blue Insurance, who rip off their customers with a revenue earning 0844 number clearly thinks customers are there to be taken for a ride. It does raise the question of their wriggling out of any commitments through loopholes in the small print.

Hi!

I emailed Blue Insurance to ask for their geographic number and I expliained that I could not phone a 0844 prefix number because of the cost.  I received a reply, that they did not know their geo number even though they were based in Cardiff!!  I do understand that the STD for Cardiff is 02920 / 02921.

You misunderstand.  Roll Eyes

The STD code for Cardiff is 029. Local numbers are eight digits.

The STD code used to be 01222 with six digit local numbers. The code was changed to 029, and at the same time, all existing local numbers were prefixed with 20 to make them eight digits long.

This change allows for many many more numbers within the Cardiff STD area. As you have identified, they have started allocating local numbers beginning 21.
