New Look - Verify
Oct 27th, 2010 at 1:21pm

Hi,

I can verify that the free phone number: 0500 454094 / http://www.saynoto0870.com/companysearch.php works.
The number is for New Look Customer Services (I was fortunate that a Supervisor answered).....

... had to make a complaint about my local branch Manageress who told me (incorrectly) that you can not get a full refund
on a top that is faulty, if it is older than 1 month!   My receipt showed it was 5 weeks old.  I'm disabled and can't get out very often.
The top cost me £30, and she wanted me to accept £10...... I got my full refund by threatening to stand there all afternoon.

Knowing that smileyeyes uses a mobile to make her calls, I am not too sure if 0500 numbers are free from a mobile.

Thanks smileyeyes, I've listed this as verified. It is the same customer services menu as the published 0844 499 6690 number.

It allows access to store card enquiries, so I have also put an entry in for that.

I have also verified the entry for head office, 01305 765000, which is answered with a menu for various departments, including customer services.

I have removed the unverified entry which says that the call centre is operated by Sitel, and gives telephone number 01392 429429, and address, 3/Manor Ct/Dix's Field Exeter EX1 1ST. As we have suitable alternatives, there is no need for this to be in there. However, I've posted it here for the record, should it be useful at a later date.

The 01392 429429 number now has a recording on saying that the new number is 01392 889200.

Grin  thanks for thinking of me Sherbert... I used my land line for the 0500 call,
after ringing Orange first to ensure the call would be free.

(can't remember the last time I had to pay for a phone call  Wink )

Hello smileyeyes!

I do believe that if you use the following number you should be able to phone the 0500 number:

020 0222 0700

I hope this helps.

James Bond

P.S. Your 'eye' looks great!

JamesBond,   umm I assumed the 020 number you posted was a geo number from around London,
so I called it from my mobile...
a recorded ladies voice said "please dial the number you wish to call"   Huh
I quickly cut it off, as I've never heard that type of message, and I don't know if I have been charged for that?   Undecided

I originally used the 0500 454094  number from my land line, which was free.

Just in case the moderators want this for the database,
the geo number for New Look in Witham, Essex is 01376 507760

Good morning

The 020 number given by Mr Bond is a "dial through" service which allows calls to so called freephone numbers at 01/02/03 rates from mobiles.

See Going a Bundle on 0800 here http://webdiary.com/i/?cat=8

Hello smileyeyes!

The 020 0222 0700 is a dial through number and once you hear " please dial the number you wish to call " you can phone 0500, 0800 and 0808 freephone from a mobile using your inclusive minutes for the 020 0222 0700.  This 020 number saves money when phoning from a mobile.

Ahhhhh, that's good to know!   (Orange have confirmed it's free for me as well)
So now I can dial the so called free phone numbers from my mobile if I'm out, and not pay a penny.   Smiley
I've stored the magic number > 020 0222 0700
.......   I see the link also suggests > 020 0222 0900 (anyone used that number?)

Smiley JamesBond and Mainbass - I am always so grateful for the help I get from this site!
It was my mobile phone provider, Orange, that told me about it!

Glad you like the 'eye' JamesBond  Wink

Thanks. New Look publishes geographic numbers for its branches on its website, so I won't list them.

I believe that the services are the same, so they can be used interchangeably.
