The main database number for Monarch Airlines scheduled flights 01582 400000 now has a recorded message saying it has now been changed to an 0871 number.

Has anyone a geo number for Monarch Airlines scheduled flights please?

I have done a search on here and cannot find any reference to Monarch Airlines so apologies if it is already covered.

Monarch operates a barrow-load of numbers, as shown on its contact page.

The number publised for switchboard, 0871 225 0250, is answered by an IVR (menu) with the following options (numbers in blue are the alternative geographic numbers):



The same IVR is on 0871 940 5040, the number published for scheduled flights (flight numbers starting ZB). I have matched the two numbers in blue to their respective IVR options on the basis that they answer with the same recording whilst closed.

Option 2 is to the offices of Avro/Cosmos in Stockport, also a part of Monarch Group of companies.

I found these numbers by working through those we had for Monarch, Cosmos and Avro. Vantage Club scheduled reservations is given on Monarch's contact page as an 0871 number, but overseas callers can use 01582 752706.

Of the 75270x numbers, all are not recognised except ending 5, 6, and 7. 7 is group bookings and is the alternative for 0871 225 5586.

I also went through 01582 5563xx numbers:



The 33 number is the only one I've been able to work out which 08/09 number it is the alternative for. It is 0901 029 2929, given on the contact page as being for pre-flight customer services, for flight numbers starting ZB.

The others may or may not be direct alternatives for 08/09 numbers and may or may not be suitable alternative for others. As is often so, it's a case of suck it and see. Please feed-back any experiences here so I can amend the listings where necessary.

I tried these numbers a couple of hours ago, during office hours and found that:

• 30 and 32 just rang unanswered
• 31 is "Monarch Service Support"
• 34, 35 and 37 were answered promptly by staff who said "Monarch" - I didn't enquire to see what department they were
• 38 still drops out after a momentary ring

Anyone looking to contact Monarch may wish to try 37 (which out of hours says it's "Monarch Scheduled" and is open 9am-9pm CET) or 34 and 35 which are just silence when closed.

You have suggested a number which may be suitable to list if they stop working.

As I said above, it's a case of suck it and see: I have suggested that Monarch customers may wish to try 34, 35 or 37, perhaps if unsuccessful with other numbers.

I see no reason why, just because a member has reported that a number published for one purpose works for other purposes, I should desist from suggesting others.
