This number can be added to the verified list of Homebase Stores, it was given to me by the Cheltenham store without query (asked for number for Evesham store and she immediately gave me the geo no), I have just used it and it works: 01386 420968 (ngn on website is 0845 640 7859); they do take a while to answer & hung up without speaking first time (could hear their personal conversation in the background!) Also beware if a box is open, just bought new lawnmower, asked why box was open, told showed contents had been checked, get it home to find half contents missing!

I've added the number for Evesham branch to the database as verified. Did you get the number of the Cheltenham store as there are a number of unverified entries for it, but nothing verified?

I recently reported Homebase to ASA for lying about its 0845 number being "charged at local rate" on a flyer. Of course, Homebase is part of Home Retail Group which also includes Argos which also likes its 0845 numbers.
