Hi there Pezza.   You have not given a full address & by googling it seems there is also the Shoreline Housing Partnership in Grimsby and a number of different addresses depending on which service you require.  However, by following a link to the website, there is a geo no for AntiSocial Behaviour of 01472 572174, they might be able &/or willing to either put you through or give you a geo number.  There is also a link on the website to ask the CHief Exec, Tony Bramley, a question - why not try asking for a geo number and explaining your issues with 0845s.  It goes without saying, of course, that it is totally unacceptable for a public service sector body (which is what HAs are, having, imo, wrongly replaced local authority Housing Departments in many places) to use covert premium rate numbers such as 0845s.  If you do email the CE, it might be worth pointing out that "local rate" has not existed since 1.7.04!!  Please report back if you try any of these ideas and what response you get as it may help others.   Another route would be to search via the postcode of the office you require.   Hope this helps a bit.

As Barbara pointed out, the OP has given sketchy basic information. I must point out that we look for clues to find alternatives and don't have special powers. Not providing information (such as that I set out in the instructions) leaves those you are asking to help you to do extra work.

Thus, the SAYNOTO0870.COM has an extensive list of alternative numbers which have been built up of years and not because there is some magic formula behind it.

As has been pointed out, the 0845 number goes through to an IVR (menu) which allows access to emergency repairs outside of normal office hours. Numbers found thus far do not answer in this way.

Having looked at the numbers found so far, there is somethings quite striking; they all start 5720xx, 5721xx and 5722xx.

We have 572010, so perhaps 572000 is the first number in the block that Shoreline's office uses. The first in the block is often the main switchboard. ...Well what do you know but it is answered in the same way as the 0845 number !!
