looking for 01623 - ------ number? only 0845 listed on web? and customer servs will only give out the 0845 number ?? says 01623 556781 in local directory,  but this is unobtainable !

I wrote last month how Tesco numbers seem to be changing. In that link, the thread relates to Tesco branches in the Colchester (01206) STD code area, but the explanation of what is apparently happening is relevant to all areas.

For the reason outlined (that Tesco branches within one area code have similar numbers), I have joined this posting to another relating to Tesco within the 01623 area. If the number is found for one branch, then it may lead us to those of other branches with the 01623 area.
