Hi all.
I was hoping that someone could help me to find the geographical number for
Volkswagen Assistance behind their 0800 777 192 option, as although its a free phone
call when at home, it suddenly becomes a pay call from the mobile...

There website http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/assistance/european shows

Should you need to call us, please use the relevant number for each country:

France and Monaco 0800 290 112 (Freephone within France and Monaco only) 0472 43 52 55 (Pay call)
Republic of Ireland 1 800 535 005 (Freephone)
Rest of Europe 00 33 472 43 52 55 (Pay call)
For Serbia and Montenegro 99 33 472 43 52 55 (Pay call)
For Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Russia and Ukraine 810 33 472 43 52 55 (Pay call)
Minicom Supertel: 0800 626 389

I have tried the "rest of europe" number by changing it to 01472 also 02472 but no luck...
Would appreciate some help please.

If you have inclusive minutes on your mobile you can use

Pre-Dials geographical access number 02002220700 or the alternative number 02002220900 to call Freephone 0500/0800/0808 numbers at no extra cost.

If one number does not work from your particular network the other normally does.

They only work for 0500/0800/0808 Freephone Calls.

Another supplier that offers this facility is http://www.0800buster.co.uk/ there are numerous others.
