I have been approached by the producer of a BBC TV show who would like to feature the filmed experiences of victims of GPs and their expensive telephone numbers as part of coverage of this story.
If anyone would like their contact details, or those of someone they know, passed on, please email or PM me.
There are just a few days left for a suitable victim to be found. Please contact me or
Katie.Cooksey@bbc.co.uk with the details of someone who is happy to be filmed being interviewed.
The requirement is for someone who has incurred significant expense making necessary contact by telephone.
A GP would be best, although it could be any NHS provider, or indeed any public body, perhaps even a private company. The key point is the necessity to make the calls.
A serious health condition and copies of telephone bills to wave at the camera angrily would be helpful to the producers, but are not absolutely essential.
A simple story, to serve purely as an illustration, is all that is needed for this contribution. Expert comment, indicating how many others are in the same position, will be added by other contributors.
