I don't visit the forum as often as I once did, and have returned today to find updated forum software.
One problem I've encountered is that the QUOTE tags in a reply now contain ridiculously long numbers instead of readable parameters like the quoted user's name. For example:
quote author=566C69606B714664696976536C66716C68050 link=1300831283/107#107 date=1321465040
This makes it more difficult to format a reply nicely, particularly where there are nested quoted sections, or where you wish to include several quotes from the same post.
Is this a security feature of the current version of YaBB? I certainly preferred the old QUOTE tags which started:
quote author=forumuser
Is there an option to change this back? I can't really see what security benefits it brings, except perhaps to make it harder to misquote someone (except it doesn't becasue you just click "reply" on one of their posts and copy the quote tags to put around whatever comment you want!)
