I've removed the number 01268 372102 from the unverified listings. This is a number that is provided by a mobile app. Users can enter a 0800 number, and the provider of the app sets up a 01/02 number that points to the said 0800 number. These 01/02 numbers only last for so long and then go back into the pool to be used again and this is probably what has happened here. For this reason, I would prefer it if people wouldn't submit such numbers.

I removed 0800 4096701.

The number 0800 092 3020 goes through to the same automated menu as 0844 891 0321. A geographic alternative for this, which I've listed, is 01603 208129 and this number is for enquiries about motor, home and breakdown insurance. Selecting option 1 (motor) goes through to the exact same menu as on the 0844 and 0800 numbers.

The 01603208129 and 01603208128 numbers has 'teams available' on options 1 (motor) , 2, 3. But selecting my choice (motor) i get the same voice telling me to call the 0844 number.

In short the 01603208129 and 01603208128 numbers sadly no longer lead anywhere.

As suggested earlier I can confirm today 03/07/12 have successfully still used the 0800 092 3020 number (via an 'inclusive-landline-minutes-free-from-a-mobile' 0800 bypass service)

Thanks for posting about this.

I've removed the defunct 01603 numbers. I wonder if this has anything to do with Aviva selling RAC.

The working 0800 numbers now say that RAC is arranged and administered by BISL Limited. Perhaps this is a clue to finding new alternatives. Huh
