Thanks. I've tidied up the entries we have for Tenpin. This number is now verified with a note to say that it is head office switchboard and only open Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm.
Tenpin was formerly Megabowl and its four years now since numbers for its branches
were found to be changed having been replaced by 0871 550 1010.
If you can sweet talk someone into giving you the number for Bexleyheath bowling centre, then it would be much appreciated.
All I can tell you is that the central number, 0871 873 2450, is published on the website for
all locations.
The automated booking system on this number matches 0871 550 1010, 0871 873 3150 and 0844 445 7010. At the present moment in time, 0844 445 7010 is probably the least expensive option to reach the central reservations system. I have put a note to say this in the database, and also one saying that you can book on the website.
The numbers 020 7112 1400 had been entered as belonging to one of the branches. It has the same distinct ringing tone (it reminds me of that used by BT for Call Waiting) as on the 0871 number, but says that it is for "approved users only" and otherwise redirects to 0871 550 1010. A few other numbers in the range are the same.
However,
020 7112 1501 says it is Tenpin and then allows selection of venue by area. Try it and let us know how you go.
The Central Reservations number appears to be operated by
X-on. See its
clients page from 2009 (Wayback Machine). It still gets a mention on the X-on website, although it isn't mentioned on the clients page. Perhaps this could be because the quoted Tenpin National Sales Manager is now Head of Sales at X-on.
0871 873 and 020 7112 are Invomo prefixes.
