I assume this is the company and website you are referring to?

According to their terms they are ©1997-2005 Sitecom Europe BV which IS a Dutch based company.  It is possible therefore that the 0845 number diverts to the Netherlands where their support is based.

Are you using a landline to contact them? If so the cost to do so will depend on your landline provider.

I will see if there are other contact options for them, but if the number does re direct the only other number maybe European.

I put 0845 161 0019 and "0845 161" into Google and it threw up a few other pages with 0845 161 00xx numbers on which are linked to information technology:

• Contact HP - In-Warranty & Out-of-Warranty 0845 161 0030
   
• Contact HP - HP Care Pack or Contract 0845 161 0050
   
• CA Technologies Contact - Customer care 0845 161 0038
   
• TomTom contact Technical support 0845 161 0009 (also uses 0845 161 0044)

I wonder whether these have a connection with Sitecom support or whether it is just a coincidence that they use similar numbers. 

The 0845 161 0019 number has a burst of ringing tone that isn't native to the UK, so I suggest that calls are answered abroad.

The TomTom 0845 numbers don't have any ringing tone before they answer, so maybe they are not connected to the same company or at least not answered at the same place.

The above is just a thought. Perhaps someone else could look into whether these might be useful leads.
