hi there, which number are you referring to??

The new claims number for Job Centre Plus is: 0800 055 6688 and as stated here: http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/moneytaxandbenefits/benefitstaxcreditsandothersuppor... it should be free to call from an Orange Mobile or BT Landline.

If Orange are charging you to call that number I'd suggest you ask them why.
