A few things spring to mind here:

What is the purpose of this number?

This page on the Asda Money site gives a similar 0871 number for the Asda Money Credit Card. In the small print it says that the card is issued by Sygma Bank UK.

Last time I checked (so as to update the listings), Asda's credit card was operated by Santander Cards (formerly known as GE Money and GE Captial). Does this mean that the provider has now been changed and therefore existing entries listing Santander Cards numbers are no longer used by Asda?

Also, previously I believe that it was "Asda Financial Services", as this was the name I gave the entries. Has this been rebranded as "Asda Money"?
