This was the most recent thread I could find for Severn Trent. Just wanted to advise that I used the number 0800 328 8408 today to pay water rates bill, went straight through, no problems or queries. I see in the forum listings this is shown as both verified (for credit management) and unverified but it could now be also shown as verified for bill payments.

Hi Barbara,

Thank you for this additional information. I have tidied up the unverified database leaving just one number in there for now, which perhaps Dave will advise on in due course.

Checking on their website under Help and Contacts, and then Ask us a question there is also a direct e-mail address which says "If you have an emergency or a billing enquiry, you can email us at customercare@severntrent.co.uk or phone us using the numbers below."

So if in doubt anyone can e-mail it would seem.

It is Severn Trent Head Office and ask to be put through to your account/residential billing etc... I got through today: 29/04/14, so the line is active Hope this helps others I refuse to pay 10p a minute!!!

Perhaps as a STW customer you could give them some feedback on it? - The have an "e-mail" option listed above.
