Cineworld blocking 020 options

Im a unlimited card holder and yesterday i wanted to speak to them about my membership,i called 02089875000 which i found on here,i got through to head office who said i would need to call 08443723445,i said i dont call these rip off numbers,and would look on internet for alternative,then she said if you use say no to 0870 it will give this number and we cant help you,anyway i found another number 02087424010 pressed opt1 and line went dead,i then pressed diffrent option spoke to cs and they said to call back at 6pm when less busy,i did this but the 020 option was disabled as cs was closed,i tried again this morning pressed opt1 and it was dead again,so pressed opt3 and was told by cs lady that the opt1 had been dis-activated and only way to speak to them now was on the 0844 number,i told her my opinion about these dirty tactics and hung up.i really think cineworld have stooped very low here they are making their customers call 0844 to speak to them.whats other members here opinion about this?

I have done some work on the entries for Cineworld.

The number 020 8742 4010 goes to the Customer services menu, exactly the same as 0844 815 7747 does. It is also busy at times, just as the 0844 number. I have therefore listed the 020 number as the alternative to the 0844 one.

I have removed the 020 8987 5000 from the database. It was previously listed as verified for customer services, albeit that the caller had to ask to be put through. It may have been that those answering the number were prepared to put the odd call through but that and influx of calls led them to refer callers to the 0844 number.

Perhaps the reason that the Customer services menu doesn't allow access to the Unlimited helpline is because it is operated elsewhere and maybe even outsourced. This PDF is an Atos case study which talks about it being the provider, including the customer support centre.

Cineworld, in common with many entertainment establishments, chooses to impose a fee for customers to make contact by telephone. It is expected that Ofcom will soon be announcing its decision to go ahead with radical reform of these numbers which will mean that users will have to be open about the Service Charge they impose on their customers.

I understand this,my reason of posting here is to basically let others know and yourself as to the tricks cineworld is doing to get people to dial 0844,also the 020 number to customer services does not work out of office hours.
