Jobcentre Plus Government E-Petition

Hi everyone out there,
I have started an e-petition to change the Jobcentre Plus 0845 phone numbers to more reasonable local numbers or at least an 0800 number.
It seems very unfair to me to charge people who are specifically in financial difficulties large amounts of money in order to discuss their problems with the authorities.
I understand there are
some
alternative local numbers publicised on this site for certain localities, but these are not nationwide.
If you agree with this sentiment, please could you take 2 seconds to sign the petition below. I'd be interested to see how many signatures we can get.
Thanks,
Ed

Signed. Taking the total to just six.
More support needed from regular members of this site. For instance have Dave, SCV, loddon or derrick signed so far?
Unfortunately the names of other signatories are no longer shown on the E-Petitions website.

Yes, signed it around 8 this morning.
Having looked at the petition again there are still only 6 signatories, but it seems we cannot see them listed as we used to with PM petitions.

The number seems to take an hour or two to update from when you sign but sadly the signatories are no longer published at all apart from the petition creator's...
