Does anyone know a geographic number for the Car Insurance Company 'Ai claims Solutions (UK) Ltd?
The search comes up with a blank...    --This is likely to be a long-winded one.......Thank you.

I started off, as ever, looking at what numbers we already have for this company. I say "we" because the database is available to all users.

I found two verified entries that related to Ai Claims Solutions:



The 01253 and 0800 number both go through to the same recorded announcement which says that from [u]1st August 2009[/i] the number has been changed to "08445 713006".

Do we think that for four years no one who looks for alternatives on this site has looked up this company and tried the numbers? Or is it another instance of people who can't be bothered to put anything back in and being content to let fellow users waste their time?

I have found new alternatives, and all I have used is the numbers already in the database as a starting point and a telephone.


I then looked at the unverified listings. The main options for Ai Claims Solutions are on 01253 842100 and these are:

1. Your first contact with Ai Claims Solutions, or calling to arrange a hire car or repair service.
2. In a hire car from us, your repair service is ongoing or you are phoning to update us about a hire or repair service.
3. You are a third party insurer.

This is a direct alternative for 0844 571 3333, 0844 571 3030 and 0844 571 3006.

The numbers 0800 056 5321 and 0800 316 0151 were listed in our database as unverified and have only the above first two options on. I then tried 01253 842101 and it was busy, but 842102 got through to reception.

I then turned my attention to the other numbers that were left. The number 0844 571 3082 was one of several of the form 0844 571 30xx.

As this is an outsourcing company I think it a likely possibility that there are more and that each one relates to a particular client. I called the one ending 3082 and it identified itself as "Swinton accident and claims line" and then gave options. The female voice was the same as that for the ones found so far, so a sensible hypothesis appeared to be that its alternative was in among Ai's 01253 numbers.

As there is a block of 0844 numbers, had they done the simple thing of mapping the 0844 numbers directly to a block of 01253 numbers (rather than having them mapped all over the place)? Based on my findings I would say "yes".

I tried 01253 842182 and then I tried 01253 441282 and hey presto got through to the exact same IVR (menu) as on 0844 571 3082. I also tried a few other 0844 571 30xx and 01253 4712xx counterparts and they answered the same as well.

So it appears that the 0844 571 30xx numbers of Ai Claims Solutions can be dialled using 01253 4412xx.
