I'm trying to find an alternate number for southern monitoring services 08448730931 this number is used for remote alarm monitoring for a domestic intruder alarm system can anyone help?
It annoys me that you pay upfront for a service to monitor your alarm system only to have an additional charge incurred by having to use the above 0844 number.

Thanks for your help and the number, I have tried ringing but no answer, will try on a working day.
I have 2 other number numbers for southern monitoring services to contact the service centre,
08448712223 and (023) 92265113 both get you through to the service centre.
the only number they give out is the 08448730931. for remote alarm monitoring.
The number I require is for the remote alarm monitoring and due to the automatic monitoring service ringing at a set time each night for a duration app 6 to 8 seconds, I am charged 0.19p per call tends to add up over a year.
I will report back if I get any luck with Tel: (023) 9225 3572 but I think it may be another number for the call centre.

Not really, that'd be less than 70p per annum.

Regarding comment by Heinz annual charge, at 19p per day by 365 days is a lot more than 70p per annum. I would be happy with that.. will keep on trying .

I have now found an alternative landline number 02392264477 which has now been programmed into my system and replaces the 08448730931 number.
I have been using this number for about 3 months now; the alarm system is still monitored daily and a bonus off not being charged for the 0844 number.
