Subscribers' contracts are with ASDA Mobile rather than the network operator (Vodafone or EE), so which clause allows forfeiting of credit should ASDA Mobile decide to change its supplier?
Is this legally enforceable? Quote:Source: ASDA Mobile Frequently Asked Questions on the change to EE
BBC Radio 4, (Money Box), at noon today has some info on this, from their weekly email: -
"Asda, Britain's lowest priced supermarket, planned to snaffle money from thousands of customer who used its mobile phone service when it changes networks from April. Customers who had any credit on the Pay As You Go mobile phone at the changeover in April were told they had to use it or lose it. A compliance lawyer tells us whether Asda is breaching its contract with its customers. And now Asda has said ... find out on Saturday."
