Carlisle City Council's new 0845 payments number.

Carlisle City Council announced in September 2013 that their payments line was going to be changing from an 01228 geographic number to an 0845 non-geographic number on October 16th.

The new 0845 number costs up to 12p/min (plus 15p connection fee) from landlines and up to 41p/min from mobiles.

Reply #1 - Oct 22^nd, 2013 at 12:12pm Carlise City Council plans to adopt new 0845 number heavily criticised. http://www.cumbriacrack.com/2013/10/10/city-council-moves-council-tax-payment-nu... The 0845 number is especially expensive from a mobile, whereas an 03 number would be inclusive for very many callers.

The change of number from 0845 to 0300 was actioned in a matter of days.
