Hi,

I have placed an online order with SIMPLY ELECTRONICS....
and I have several complaints that I need to discuss with them urgently. Cry

Surprise Surprise......their website offers customers an 0844 number:
0844 499 0616

After doing a search with their phone number, the main data base shows an alternative
geo number: 0115 871 4466 which unfortunately does not work, the line is dead.
My order confirmation email states that BRENDON DUKES is the Customer Experience Officer, so I emailed him and asked him to phone me.
They replied saying they can not phone customers !! Shocked

I have just come across a ton of negative reviews about this company,
who are based in Hong Kong. I must admit, I'm worried.
I'd be very grateful if anyone could assist with trying to get

Hi, do you have an address for them? I can't see one on the website, there doesn't seem any other option for contacting them. If you find an address, try googling the postcode as sometimes that can help lead to a phone number but I suspect, as they are so elusive, they will have covered their tracks on this one.

The 0115 871 4466 number is answered with the message "We're sorry, but we're currently experiencing technical difficulties with our phone line. Please call us again later, or e-mail your query to info@simplyelectronics.net for futher assistance. Thank you."

I then called 0844 499 0616 and it goes through to exactly the same message. So I suggest that the 0115 number is still a valid alternative.

The Simply Electronics Terms of use page gives the address:

Simply Electronics Limited
1501-1508, Millennium City 5,
418 Kwun Tong Road,
Kwun Tong, Kowloon,
Hong Kong

The 0115 871 prefix is allocated to a provider of VoIP services, which are accessed over the internet, so calls could potentially be answered anywhere in the world.

An international company search has given me the following:

Registered in Hong Kong, company reg no 1150413.
Address: 18/F Peninsula Twr, 538 Castle Peak Rd, Cheung Sha Wan, Hong Kong. (this may just be the registered office address & not a trading address)
Chief Exec: Chung Sang Ho.
Phone: 35425594
Fax: 39048466

It might be worth calling the HK number at an appropriate time of day.

It would be good to use a service that provides discounted calls to International Destinations... such as: http://www.localphone.com/prices/h#pricesTableContainer

I am sure one was mentioned that had a 0161 contact number.. but I cannot find the post..

www.callsdiscount.com but only to Hong Kong Mobile,and then only of any real use if you have inclusive minutes.
