Quote:the big change is that full LLU rental will increase to be broadly in line with WLR pricing, and this is likely to hurt TalkTalk and Sky and their customers the most.
Have I read that correctly? So basically LLU CPs like Sky and TalkTalk will have to pay the same as WLR CPs?
Average monthly price charged by most landline OCPs is around £15 mark (excluding those that allow paying line rental upfront).
So I would love to know where all this money goes to? It looks like more than half generally goes to
BT Openreach. Is this to pay for sports rights maybe?
If it was not for the fact that a landline is needed to get broadband, I (like many I guess) would probably just use mobiles where prices seem to be generally falling and, imho, competition really does exist unlike with landline OCPs.
