Universal Credit Helpline
Mar 14th, 2014 at 3:11pm

The DWP have set up a Universal Credit helpline (0845 600 0723) for people who need help or want to make a claim, but this is an expensive call to make, especially for people on benefits.

I am not sure where the call centre is based.

We would like to find a geographical number for the Universal Credit Helpline in order to help people on benefits get the advice they need without paying a fortune in phone charges!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Some good news although not officialy announced yet, i have just discovered  the new number 0345 600 0723 issued in accordance with new govt guidelines is now operational as well as old one.

03 numbers are treated the same as 01/02 numbers and are normally included in landline/mobile inclusive minutes.
