Many are still failing to comply with the regulation that applies only to calls in relation to purchases made, however the level of compliance achieved has been surprisingly high.
Changes such as those made by Carphone Warehouse show that the issue has been recognised, even if a complete switch has not been required at this stage. This will make it easier for the pressure created by the forthcoming need to declare the Service Charge to have the desired effect.
