Hi there,
Anybody have a proper number for removing ourselves from the open electoral register? You can only do it by phone as far as I can see.
The number is 0800 197 2327
Many thanks

You dont say what Local Authority you are dealing with so its not much help but some allow you to write or e-mail to remove yourself.
I assume you want to call the number from a mobile as its free to call from a landline.

I've been told by Croydon Council that it's a central number used by all councils. I've seen this number being used by others councils. I've asked Croydon to find out the 01/02/03 alternative. It may be worth you trying the same.

Thats not strictly true i have seen a fair few different 0800 numbers used by councils for this purpose.
