Some Good News. You can cancel without a penalty.

See here :  http://bt.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/46728/~/price-changes-from-4-janu....

Where it says:

What if I'm unhappy with the price rises?

"We're sorry that you're unhappy about how the price rises affect you. We'd rather you stayed with BT as we believe we offer fantastic services and products. However, if you contact us within 30 calendar days of receiving your personal notification you may cancel your services without penalty."

It also appears that you should be able to get back any unused  Line Rental Saver credit. They  refunded it  last year.

Looks like BT are getting their own back on Ofcom and Cabinet Office for making so many 0845 numbers to be changed to 0345 particularly as BT are the major provider of 0845 numbers historically.

Lets hope that another Phone/BB/TV Provider takes the initiative and drops ? prices, I wonder if any are wide enough awake to see this heaven sent opportunity to collect customers. Roll Eyes
