Many BBC viewer and listener services continue to use non-geographic numbers, but have switched to the 03 equivalents of their former 084 and 087 numbers.
There continues to occasionally be a problem with services offered in conjunction with others, such as the case identified above.
The serious problem is with the few local radio stations that have not yet switched, including those listed below:

Wiltshire - Phone-inThe fair telecoms campaign continues to apply pressure, especially when appearing on these stations to discuss the issue! It is probably just a question of time and priorities, although any contact from listeners/campaigners can help.
Major focus will be applied shortly with notice about the imminent introduction of the "unbundled tariff" and the need for those who continue to use 084/087 numbers to declare the Service Charge. In many cases, this will simply set a deadline of June 2015 for the total removal of these numbers. Timing of this is important - there must be sufficient time to take action, but not so much that the deadline appears distant.
