Co-Op Car Insurance
Oct 28th, 2014 at 6:25pm

Hello there...
I'm a senior citizen with reasonable computer literacy and have been directed by a friend to your site.
This is a superbly useful service.
I want to contact Co-Op Car Insurance about my policy.
However, typing in 'Co-op Insurance' brings up numbers relating to Home Insurance and none for 'Car'
Ideally, I'd prefer a freephone number. We pensioners are ripped off enough by telecoms people! Angry
Equally, insurance companies! Sad Sad
So: has anyone by chance come across a freephone number that will if not access 'Car Insurance' then perhaps link me to it for free?
Many thanks

After years of ignoring govt. guidelines & RIPPING OFF Council Tax payers using 0845 numbers, Essex County Council changed to 0345 numbers on 2 November 2015

The Coop have changed their Car Insurance Customer Service number from an 0845 one to 03457 46 46 46.This is charged the same as a 01/02 number and is included in your inclusive minutes if you have any.

See:  http://www.co-operativeinsurance.co.uk/customerservices/contact-us
and click on Car Insurance

However the good news is the Freephone Number  0800 0854591 appears to connect you to the same menu. Smiley

Let us know how you get on.

Admin can you update the database please.

Hello fellas....
Many thanks to you both for taking time to reply to my query. Much appreciated.
Tried the freephone...it worked!!!
My car insurance is due soon and after Co-Op's recent scandalous mishandling of financials etc and their blatant lies over ethics,I've no intention of doing business with them ever again.
I resent even paying them 1p for a phone call! Smiley
