Have you written to their CEO using the address listed at
www.ceoemail.com or are you waiting for another member to enlighten them on the error of their ways. Also they may be relying on the continued exemption (until the useless FSA are forced to act) for banks and insurance companies given that annual car breakdown cover is essentially an insurance product.
I would write to them if I was a member but my breakdown cover is via Club Toyota who in turn now use the AA to provide the actual breakdown service. They used to use the RAC until about two years ago.
