The only number for the above company, given on the website, is

0844 371 8021

They have not replied to an e-mail sent at the beginning of the week, and I wish to check on changing a booking.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. Cool

There were two entries, both unverified, in the database:

  • Alternative: 01235 845697
Note: The geographical number cited is the one that showed up on my caller display when Ferry Savers called me. They refuse to confirm a geographical number. I can't get a reply on the 01235845697 number.

  • Alternative: 01235 845100
Note: The one already there doesn't work... it just rings. The one I have provided has been used by me and does work

I've removed them pending further investigation. If I were you I would try 01253 845100 and see how you go. Please provide feedback; I will list a number when you confirm one as working.

If you are contacting them about something you have already purchased, and they provide access by telephone for this, Regulation 41 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 require they provide an 01, 02 or 03 number for you to call.

Where telephone access is provided but you have to call an 084, 087 or 09 number, Regulation 41(2) gives you the right to a refund of the call costs incurred over and above whatever the call would have cost had it been made to an 01, 02 or 03 number.

The regulations came into force on 13 June 2014.

You can also report the non-compliance to Trading Standards via the Citizen's Advice national Consumer Helpline on 0345 404 0506.

FerrySavers terms state that their customer services is LCT Support Services who are also based at the same registered address as FerrySavers.com see here

The Dialling code for that area is: 01235, which matches Dave's info.  Please let us know how you get on with contacting them.   It may also be worth pointing out under the regulations Ian has provided they must provide an 01/02/03 number for any customer service related enquiries.
