There are four types of Service Charge for 084, 087, 09 and 118 numbers:
- per call, irrespective of call length
- per minute, charged per second from the start of the call
- per call plus a per minute rate charged per second from the start of the call
- per call plus a per minute rate charged per second after the first 60 seconds.

The Access Charge is always stated as a simple per minute rate. It is usually charged per second and most landline and mobile providers have a one minute minimum fee. There is no longer a connection fee on these calls.
