Indigo Pipelines

Indigo Pipelines supply gas to UK homes.
So if you move into a new build house or simply don't know who your current gas supplier then these people will tell you.

Their number is 0845 078 6739 but I cannot find an alternative to this. I did call them on their genral enquiries number but they refused to put me through to the help desk to find out who my gas supplier is. Can anyone help?

Thanks.

The Energy Networks Association map which shows gas network operators does not list Indigo.  Huh

As I understand it Indigo supply the gas to all of the gas network operators listed on the link that you have shared.

They then lease out the infrastructure to each energy supplier. I can't find out which supplier supplies gas to my home unless I contact Indigo.

http://www.energynetworks.org/info/faqs/who-is-my-network-operator.html

Quote:
Who is my Network Operator?

Our members are the network operators for your gas and electricity supply and so are not responsible for your energy bill. However, if you do not know who supplies your gas or electricity they can help you find out.

I suggest you need to contact the Network Operator for you area.

Even going on Gas Transmission Map doesn't yield mention of Indigo. These days one bit contracts to another so it may be that Indigo works on behalf of one of these named companies. As I say, I would speak to your Network Operator.

Indigo IGT own the network but sub contract the operations to SSE. Call the relevant department in SSE on 0345 07 86 739 for info as to exactly who is your energy supplier, I did as a domestic customer and they helped me.

Just as an upshot, and this maybe recent, they have their own web address: http://www.indigopipelines.co.uk/

It now appears ALL the relevant 084 numbers are now 034.

I hope this helps
