In the past I have used 0800 068 0050 to contact Time Out about problems with my subscription. This is now giving "unobtainable". A search on Sayno gives 01795 592827 which is also unobtainable.

Can anyone help please.

Under current legislation they shouldn't be using an 0844 number for customer support anyway.

You can report the breach to Trading Standards via the Citizen's Advice national Consumer Helpline on 0345 404 0506. The regulations have been in place for almost 11 months so there is no excuse.

If you end up calling the 0844 number you are entitled to a refund of all call costs over and above whatever you would have paid to call an 01, 02 or 03 number. Be sure to claim the money back.

I phoned the HQ shortly after my OP. Apparently they can't get hold of the distribution people either at the moment. They noted my problem (2 weeks of non-delivery) and said somebody would phone me back. Not holding my breath.

Yes you did but if you look at the link i posted your find a different 01795 displayed. Did you try that one ?

Turns out I rang on the day their entire phone and internet system was in meltdown. The 0800 and 01795 numbers now work. I've also told them that it's now illegal for them to use an 0844 number for customer support.

The 01795 and 0800 numbers I put in my original post could usefully be put as confirmed alternatives for Time out subsciptions 0844 245 6975
