Ann put in an immense amount of time chasing a large number of organisations, including writing twice to every English local authority that was still using 0845 numbers.

Earlier work included engaging with local GP practices and local PCT, patient transport organisations and local CCG, insurance companies, her own local authority and a number of retailers.

In her local community she was part of the residents/tenants association, neighbourhood watch and other community groups, helped a number of disabled and elderly residents in many ways including getting their shopping and a myriad other things. On top of that she ran regular classic car events and was involved in several other local events.

Ann will be sorely missed by many. A sad loss indeed.

Hello Trish and welcome to Say No To 0870. I spoke to Ann on a number of occasions and she was always ready to and busy engaging with organisations. She was never resting on her laurels.

I wish to endorse all the other comments on this thread about Ann and to add my appreciation of her campaigning efforts and her engaging personality.   Condolences to her family and friends.   I am sure she is missed and will be long and lovingly remembered.
