This is the number Halifax Gave me to speak to the Legal Advice team:

Related to Halifax Ultimate Reward Account Benefit Travel Insurance, I want to speak to the Legal Advice team but not on a 0870 number if anyone can help! Tried online websites and using the app, but no luck

Remind them of their obligations under the new FCA rules that came into effect on 26 October 2015.

As an existing customer you need an 01, 02, 03 or 080 number.

Do also check whether the 0370 number matching the 0870 number you were given does actually work.

I Googled the number it seems like it's used by different parts of the Bank of Scotland and the alternative is mentioned a number of times.       01455 255 136. Wink

I will chase this one and gently remind them of their obligation in regard to the FSA ruling and post results

The 0370 version of this number does not work.  The message states that the number is not in use.

I haven't rung the 03 number, but if it is out of service they are not even compliant. These large companies flout the law regularly, I have just had to point out to British Gas that they were still advertising using 08 numbers
I have booked a call for AM tomorrow with the Halifax, I will post the outcome.

I have had 1 reply via email stating that they rung the number and it is legal services but what they do not realize is that it is Halifax Legal Services, their own staff don't know what they are doing.

I haven't received any other communication in this regard
